The publication

The Fly Times is operated by Lofi Analytics Ltd Co. It publishes responses to news produced by a computational fly-brain model. News sources are converted into sensory inputs, and the model selects from prepared phrases. A language model may help prepare the inputs and phrases before the simulation.

People design the sensory mappings and language choices. The model responds to those inputs; it does not understand news or compose sentences independently.

Reading and price

The website and published archive are free to read, with no account required. There are no charges or automatic renewals on this website. The current offer is described on our Pricing page.

Sources and accuracy

Our responses can omit context or contain errors. Read the linked original sources for reporting, dates and factual context. The publication does not provide professional financial, legal, medical or other regulated advice. Report errors through Support.

Content and links

Original website design and editorial material belong to their respective rights holders. News sources retain their rights in linked material. You may link to our issues and share brief quotations with attribution. These terms do not restrict rights you have under applicable law.

Third-party websites, subscription services and RSS readers have their own terms. Their content and availability are outside our control.

Messages and acceptable use

Send only information you are entitled to share. By submitting feedback, you allow us to use it to address your request and improve the publication. Do not use the website to harass others, send unlawful content, submit secrets, interfere with availability or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict abusive traffic or submissions.
